Notable Possessions: She has a very wide collection of parasols and is rarely even seen without one. Perfume: She has five, and normally carries at least one on her at all times, depending on her mood. She has long, silky, blonde hair that she normally wears down, with a bow in it, or covered up by a bonnet, which her father makes her wear to protect her face from the sun. She has wide, curious blue eyes, and normally has a smile on her face. Due to having very fair skin, she tries to cover up as much as possible, due to the fact that she burns very easily. All of her clothes are made by a perfessional dressmaker in the city and delivered to her every couple of weeks. Gemma tries to keep up with the latest fashions, so she's always in style. However, her clothes get dirtied fairly quickly, as she always getting into trouble. Personality: Curious and naive. She normally wants to know what everyone is up to and her big mouth has gotten her into trouble on more than one occasion. Most people don't take her seriously, even though she wants to be, as she has hopes of becoming a famous singer and can normally be found begging saloon owners if they'll let her sing for them. Gemma also tries to befriend just about anyone, and has been written off as annoying on more than one occasion for coming off as over-exuberant. She tends to be very emotional too at times, and can be a bit of a crybaby. History: Gemma is the only daughter of one of the richest men in town, a wealthy landowner that owns quite a bit of Sedona. Her mother died of influenza when she was only four, leaving her father with just Gemma, who looked exactly like her departed mother. Gemma was used to get everything that she wanted from a young age, as her father spoiled her heavily. When she was eight, he began to hire private tutors to teach Gemma various skills that he thought she would need. She hated French and sewing, thinking them a waste of time, but fell in love with dance, singing, and piano. When he decided that it was time to send her to school with the other children, so that she could make friends of her. She got in trouble for humming during her lessons, and cried when the schoolmaster hit her with a ruler. However, though she hated school, Gemma became skilled at making friends, even though some of them only befriended her for her father's money. When she was fourteen, Gemma began to start going to the local saloons to try and convince them to let her sing or dance their. This resolved in a lot of shut doors in her face, none to meanly though, as they all knew Gemma to be a sensitive girl, and didn't want her to get to let down. It was mostly out of fear, as they didn't want to see her father's reaction when they let his little girl sing in a local saloon where sometimes pretty vicious fights broke out. That hasn't stopped her from trying though. Place of Residence: She lives on the outskirts of town, in a big house with her father.
